Soak up the pristine alpine environment and challenge yourself to experience a trail run at an altitude above 1550m. The trail runs of Dinner Plain are for the beginner to the enthusiast with runs varying between 5km to 26km. The trails run in and out of Dinner Plain village and are a combination of easy fast flat well utilised multi-purpose trails to technical trails featuring, inclines, descents and singletrack sections. Get running and take in some of the most magnificent views of the Victorian High Country across Mount Hotham and Mount Feathertop, stunning and certainly cooler in the early hours of the day and at sunset.
Village Runs
Many of the Dinner Plain walking trails are suitable for trail running. These include:

- Collectors Cirque
- Carmichael Falls Walk
- Collectors Cirque
- Montane Loop
- Dead Timber Hill
The trails run in and out of the village and are a combination of easy, fast, flat and well utilised multi-purpose trails with some technical trails featuring inclines, descents and single track sections.
Precipice Plain - The Dinner Plain Track is a 4WD track that will lead you to spectacular vista views that look out onto the Dargo Valley with stunning sunsets. It's a 9km track that is well sign posted and can link into other trails to extend the distance.
Montane Walking Track - This less-frequently visited singletrack will take you on a beautiful 9.1km run east of the village via Slippery Pinch, Precipice Plain and the Dinner Plain Track. Please take a map.
Brabralung Trail - A easy-to-navigate gravel path that undulates for 26km-return along an old songline, past historic huts and stunning plains to Mount Hotham.
